The United States intends to approve calcium formate as feed acidifier.

According to the US Federal Gazette, on February 11, 2020, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued document No. 2020-02664, proposing to amend the food additive regulations to approve Calcium Formate (calcium formate) in pig or poultry feed It is used as feed acidifier to reduce feed PH.


It is understood that this application was submitted by LANXESS Corporation on December 27, 2019.
